What customers say?

“ Apparently they only have one vegan set - which is clearly labelled on the menu, the rest aren't vegan or even vegetarian. Order via a QR code on the table. Service was quick too. There is a good mix of flavours in the small side dishes. A small selection of steamed veggies, and a plate of stronger flavour components. Multigrain rice (you can choose between a small or large bowl), and a savoury soy milk soup - which wasn't my cup of tea Literally the most balanced and healthiest meal I had in Osaka. ”

“ It's NOT a real vegetarian restaurant, not as its name states. For my understanding, only the Tofu Plate set is vegetarian on the menu. The tofu steak is delicious with assorted steamed vegetables, side dishes, and a veggie miso soup. Plus favorite healthy whole grains rice. The restaurant is on the 1 floor of Namba city department store, not so easy to find it. ”

- Li Gary -

“ Finally, some real Japanese vegan food. The place is a bit tricky to find, you have to solve an elevator puzzle to get to the bottom floor. When I exited the metro, I had to go up first before finding another long elevator to go to the bottom shopping floor. It's near Mont Bell. Google Maps is right, just make sure to find the right floor. You can order through a QR code, use Chrome translate to translate it to English. They have a vegan plate, and other sets that probably are also vegetarian, not sure. Prices are cheaper on those, also look more delicious, maybe worth a try if you don't insist on gluten-free. ”

“ Absolutely incredible dining experience! The food was not only healthy but bursting with flavor. We were amazed by the variety of vegetables and the vibrant colors on every plate. Each dish was so fresh and beautifully presented that it looked as appetizing as it tasted—very, very, very appetizing! If you're looking for a place that serves delicious and wholesome Japanese food, this is the spot to go. Highly recommend! ”

“ If you're a vegan, take note that this is not a vegetarian restaurant! The name might be a little misleading but trust me, the food is not. Almost every single set on the menu is worth trying. We ordered the Green Curry and Edomayo set, and both were just bursting with flavours and colors. Mind you, its all natural and healthy food, with a good portion of protein like chicken and shrimps. Reasonable priced, great dining ambience and superbly delicious food is all that matters when you visit Musi-Vege! ”

“ The Vegan Plate and chocolate cake was delicious. Do check this out Some dishes have eggs. So read carefully and order. ”

“ Not exactly vegetarian, not exactly vegan, and honestly I'm not sure if it's healthy either. Nevertheless, a nice place to get a balanced meal and fulfill your fiber needs. I came alone for dinner on a Monday night. I got their set menu of deep fried chicken with black vinegar sauce, which came with multigrain rice, soy milk soup, some side dishes that I could not identify (but I was too hungry to ask the staff so I devoured them anyway), and the highlight of the meal: a basket full of assorted steamed vegetables. There were a little of every variety of veggie you could imagine in the steamer. The chicken was juicy and pairs well with the tangy sauce, while the steamed veggies give a nice crunch and sweetness. All in all, let's just conclude it's healthy so I can come back often. ”
